Won't effect as many people as the MMS Engineers who got paid trips and tickets to the 2005 Peach Bowl.

How is this even a story? HBO Real Sports doesn't know how we roll in Louisiana.

Something does not sound right here. I cannot fathom how dumb the Sugar Bowl execs would have to be to make direct contributions that are subject to public record laws.

But yes, lets definitely move the SEC title game to the Superdome.

I don't really see what one has to do with the other, but I'm all for rotating the SECCG, and not just to NOLA. Nashville and Houston (assuming TAMU in the SEC) should get a chance as well.

The second the SEC leaves Atlanta the ACC will swoop in and lock up the Georgia Dome for years. It's the perfect championship game city/venue.

hasn't been in office in how long?

This is recent, either Blanco or Jindal

Clearly states its just like Fiesta. Employees contributing, get the money back from Sugar.

I don't see the Sugar hierachy being very smart, not sure what their "affiliation" is but wasn't Hoolighan AD or something at Vandy at one time?

Yeah, I thought about that after posting. You're close, but I think a few of the Tiger Rant guys that do hit and runs have you beat.

NOLA medical examiner, Governor's, casino/oil stuff with the State Leg. etc...I will readily acquiesce to La. being greater than AL in this department. Geaux Tigers!

Meanwhile in Alabama, there was the Greenetrack Casino Investigation, and the governor, a UA grad, agreeing to reappoint Bobby Lowder to the AU board..yeah, no cash changed hands there.

We can have this pissing contest all night or we can solve it with one question. If we went to North Dakota and asked a bum-frick cowboy riding the range what state comes to mind when we say "corrupt politics"....

Terrible rebuttal.

Did I really need to say venue for the SECCG?

The SECCG would never be in Dallas.

And Atlanta is a better city than New Orleans.
