Making him the third coach in a row to win one at LSU.

Too bad it isnt that easy at Alabama.

None of them has won a NC twice at LSU, so you guys are looking at like a 7 year drought minimum?

4 years to fire O, then 3 years for the next guy to have success.

It’s pretty common knowledge that 99% of your fan base didn’t exist before Saban started winning titles.

Looks like you’re in this camp. When you jump ship after Saban leaves, LSU doesn’t want you.

Too long. Hopefully Saban has cleaned the "good ole boys" network out by now, otherwise it may end up being another drought after Saban.

But I'm betting with the monster Saban has created, even a Les Miles type could get at least 1 more NC out of it.

Of course, anyone that says something you like must just be a recent Alabama fan. Makes total sense.

A true Alabama fan would know better than to use a title drought as an insult.

You’re a side walker trying to insult LSU over title droughts when Alabama’s last one was going on four years ago. Not to mention the many lean years before Saban got there. You know, before you were a fan.

Yep, LSU's best team ever to beat the worse Alabama team in a decade by 5 points.

I think we'll be fine.

Oh no, we once went 17 years without a national championship.

That's not a drought for most teams btw. And neither is a 7 year window.

Whatever you need to feel better. I love it when people need to assume all these kinds of things about me.

Also, 4 years is shorter than the last time LSU scored a point on Alabama in Baton Rouge. But in reality, it's only been 2 years.

Does this mean every LSU fan trash talking by referring to Alabama being 2 years removed from a title is not a true LSU fan?

Mostly a shite ton of injuries and a QB who thinks he needs to be a hero on every play rather than just throwing the ball away.

Also an OC who gets 0 blame even though they didn't run the ball nearly enough.

The only major losses you had were Moses and Ray then Tua late in the season. "Shite ton" is a very loosely used term.

Statistically your best quarterback ever.

SidewalkTiger isn’t trash talking. He’s stating fact about the clear decline of Alabama. Learn the difference.

It wasnt trash talking.

Your fellow Bammer said another coach could get a championship out of "Saban's machine" yet Saban hasnt been able to get one in two seasons and has a losing record to ranked teams as of late.

Are you joking? The backups for ILB even got hurt and we were playing a true freshman at the position as a result.

Only if you cherry pick certain stats. He was by far the most talented QB and has the most promise to do better at the next level. But it doesn't really matter when you turn the ball over constantly and cost your teams the game.

Down 13, less than 20 seconds in the half. 1st down from your own 26, and the opponent gets the ball.

Taking a knee, hell even a sack or anything that doesn't result in a turnover is good football. Instead this guy throws the ball for a terrible interception which gives LSU the ball on the 13(after Dickerson said - hey Tua, I'll frick shite up with you and got a PF). And then LSU abuses the aforementioned true freshman ILB for a TD. Now Alabama goes into the half down by 20 and LSU gets the ball.

This after the untouched fumble. The offense only managed to score 7 points until the end of the 3rd quarter and that was because they finally started to run Najee a bunch. Yeah, 4 TDs on the game is all the stats say. But those stats damn sure don't tell the story because he played a terrible game.

In a way you can relate, to me that play was basically on this level:

WTF are you doing?

List the players who missed more than half the season.

I have a terrible memory and I'm not the kind of person who's ever going to be able to cite roster changes.

But I do know we had 5 freshman playing just on defense by week 4.

We lost BOTH starting ILB before the season started. That's basically the QB of the defense, and we had a true freshman out there calling defensive plays.

Wasn't up to par, although I put both the losses mostly on the offense and their turnovers. A slightly better defense might could have up for it.

Thats true I guess if you count special packages.

However McMillon had 30 career tackles so who knows if he wouldve been better than his backup so I stick with my original statement that Moses and Ray were the only major losses.
