Don't let all this crap spoil things for you. Red Stick is my favorite away game. You should make the trip.

I've never seen grown men (presumably) act as immature as several of these rantards have this week.
Ditto that Hoss.

It is a situation involving print and TV media carrying facts of a story that may or may not be accurate.
When one enquires to validate or disprove that info., he instead is greeted with Potato Head humor perorated in accordance with an average 3rd grader's literary skill. Immature sums it up nicely.

Well, from a little Googling.

He spoke at a Ga Tech event.

And event for Florida bankers.

The SEC Rugby tournament.

An event for State of Alabama bridge engineers.

A National Guard event

A Mississippi water board

The Alabama Firefighter's College

He is a Ga Tech grad, with as degree in engineering and a long time member of the Army Reserves.

Next thing you know they are going to start accusing Pat Dye of a Bama bias because of his relationship with Coach Bryant.

Burleson often speaks to Alabama booster clubs, according to his website
I'm not sure that actually was on his website.
But he took the site down earlier today, so it's hard to say.

Man-its time to let it go...as it was stated on the Tony Barnhart show, Alabama is starting to gel-it has its offense working for em, its defense working for em, its special teams working for em, and it refs working for em!!!

Damn right! All four facets of our game are KICKIN' arse!!!

This Potato Head, who possesses third grade grammar skills, knows that Enrique the famous singer would spell it "inquires". But that may just be him.

I hope I would be the same if the roles were reversed.

I take that as a open admission that LSU got royally screwed. Bama was probably the better overall team. But the better team doesn't always win the game. Would LSU have won if it had been called straight up? No one knows, but the bitching stems from the fact that they were robbed of that chance.

Well, you can still go to the cached page of his website and it does not list any booster club engagements from any school.

It lists BellSouth and BC/BS of AL.

Well Sweety, I guess that would explain you not being the source of this type of brilliance: "There's a couple of you guys that are fricking stupid."
No?

I don't think you would find many of us Gumps that would disagree with this. However, us Gumps did not make the call.

And do you think that the continued bitching about the screwing will make everything all better at some point? Will the SEC grant you guys a do-over...possibly on the Wednesday before the SECCG just to make sure the correct West representative will be in Atlanta? Can you give us a date in which you think everything will be all right?

I want everything to be just like it was on November 1st...when everyone was just mildly antagonistic.

This is highly likely, afterall he is a payed consultant to the SEC. If slive can fine coaches he can surely force a SEC employee to follow his orders.

That all being said, its over with. Its time to let it die "FOR NOW".

I am very impressed with the numbers of Bama fans who will admit that LSU got hosed in the game. I salute you Bama fans

No, you carried my comments too far. I would hope that if my team was on the receiving end of a call, that I believed was incorrect (whether it was or was not), I would be magnanimous in defeat.

Bama was probably the better overall team.

That word probably is whats wrong with your comment.

Yeah, we all get LaMonroed every once and awhile, even in life away from the playing field.

Your position is that it wasn't called "straight up", and we differ in this postulation.

I think losing your starting QB, RB and having no time outs, thanks to your genius coach, might play into that as well.
