I don't see the problem with the roads in SC in general. People who complain about roads are divas.
There is obviously opportunity here given the massive population and economic growth.
if the schools suck, how do you explain all the students who grew up in SC schools and then became physicians, engineers, scientists, etc.
If you take SC failing students and ship them to 'good' schools up north, they gonna fail up there too.

i'm not sure how my life would have been any different if I went to school in another state.

Actually, you don’t pay into it. Your employer supplies it. It’s usually covered by carriers. Zero to do with you paying into it.
