Joe Adams' hit on Chad Jones in '09. It was the hit where Adams got right up while Jones crawled around on his knees for a few seconds and left the game.
I agree. Don't see many receivers catching a pass and knocking out DB's

yeah LSU won that game in OT anyways...

Steve Atwater could lay the wood!
The Chad Jones - Joe Adams hit was big. I don't see how either walked away.

back in the day, steroids were rampant at La Tech.
Steroids have an interesting side effect after 10 days of usage.
The person has emotional side effects.
the La Tech team were given out packages of steroids to put on their breakfast cereal. it was supposed to only go to guys healing with an injury, but... some guys were getting it when they wanted to.
So that I can survive in real life, I will not use real names.
However, there were some hits by La Tech DBs on WR's which were EPIC, during the steroid era.
clean hits. not like the hit on the punt return.
but AMAZING, due to the combo of steroids and the encouragement of the fans in the stands.
BOOM!! nothing like it. And dont frick with those guys IRL.
They were bent out of shape, most of the time. weird.

My favorite was the running back that trucked the db. I believe it was a VT rb vs NC. Anyone have a link?
Greg Jones vs. Dexter Reid
One of the greatest offensive hits I've ever seen. And that's a future NFL safety he just plowed too.

Don't remember the year but a Western Carolina DB knocking the piss out of Abram Booty was one of the hardest hits I have seen live.

It was Brett Eddins in 2004.
You're exactly right. Number 94 (I think he was 94) layed the wood on whoever it was playing QB.

Mike McNeil's hit on Darius Hanks, in the 2010 iron bowl, was pretty epic.

The present coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers is in that scene.
Oh, by the way, Dye made Danley get his arse up and walk off the field on his own after that. The Buckeyes were ahead 14-3 at that point in the game.
Auburn outscored them 28-0 from that point on.

Coryatt's hit is the hardest I've seen.

The 1998 Kentucky/Arkansas game in Little Rock. Kennoy Kennedy had two hits on Kentucky receivers that were epic.
The first one was a little five yard out route. Kennedy hit the receiver so hard that the receiver's helmet came off and went spinning down the field for more than ten yards. It was crazy. I've never in my life seen a helmet come off like that. Not only did it come off, but it went spinning down the field.
Later in the game with Kentucky driving a receiver caught a short pass over the middle and Kennedy hit him as soon as he turned around. The guy's helmet turned around so that he was literally looking out of one of his earholes. Needless to say, he had to leave the game.

Kennoy Kennedy had a short stay in Denver as a safety. I remember watching him play.

helmet to helmet hit.
I think the game would be safer if no one had helmets.
that would end using the head as a weapon.
he did it on purpose in the youtube you provided.

Kennoy could bring it! One of those UK hits was on James Whalen and he broke his nose, lots of blood.
