It's only a day old. Saban announced his suspension after yesterday's practice.

It was reported yesterday evening and there have been multiple threads with the links to the credible news sources. This thread is a tag along with twitter rumor updates.

I know the length of the suspension is a rumor but given the source, it's a strong rumor.

Not saying it's legit, just more credible than some unknown tweeting about it.

Usually it's up to the player as to when he comes back.

I bet Ha-Ha decides that he's been punished enough right before the LSU game.

Gotcha, I was in birthday mode all day yesterday after work so didn't get a chance to hear anything about it. Just trying to add some clarity to another one of these idiotic twitter rumor threads

Assuming that this is a legit twitter account, I doubt Saban discussed the length of the suspension with the other guys. I bet it was just rumors among the players.

I agree there, but I'm jaded about all of these twitter rumor threads.

How is a the length of an indefinite suspension a rumor?

Looks legit but yeah, you never know.

If we knew for a fact that was Cooper's twitter, it would be borderline legit.

Ya, I agree. Just trying to be pragmatic. Dont want to get too excited about little brothers impending demise.

Those claiming agent contact need to remember - an athlete can have contact with agents. UA even facilitates contact with draft eligible players and agents on campus during season. A player cannot enter into agreement with an agent or accept benefits from an agent.

If the narrative is going to be suspension is agent related then people need to change their talking points from "contact with an agent" to "he got something from an agent". Btw - I'm not saying that is true, just that rival fans need their talking points to be more accurate about rules if those points are going to fit their rumor.

Come on man. Cooper is saying he's out for the season... That's the rumor.

Jeremy Hill was suspended indefinitely a few month ago.

Or it could be Cooper just having fun with the rumors that have been swirling around since yesterday evening. I highly doubt he would call out a friend for all the world to see while also tagging him in the tweet.

Ah I got you, the second part sounded as if you were referring to another rumor you had heard as oppose to the original tweet.

So, rather than supporting his buddy in a public way, he's making a joke about a starting safety being out for the year? That trickster.

Do aTm fans not know the difference between vacate and forfeit?

I'm also not sure if it would be a loss still or just not count.

Still a loss.

"Vacating" wins is quite possibly the dumbest thing ever created. It should either be a forfeit or let the results on the field stand. Taking a win away but leaving the other team with a loss makes no sense at all.
