I doubt he would have been at practice if this is the case.

I hate how people nowadays believe any stupid twitter shite that pops up.

This is like my mom thinking that there are actually roving gangs doing initiations at night because of some stupid email.

Yes, but it would effectively take Bama out of the SEC race and thus if A&M wins out they go to Atlanta. I'm also not sure if it would be a loss still or just not count. If it doesn't count then if LSU loses to Bama A&M could lose the LSU game and still go to Atlanta.

Not holding my breath though.

Ed, that info has been discussed in several other threads. You are behind, not lifting up the thread with old news. The OP is reporting rumors (probably fake ones) regarding the actual length of the suspension.

Saban said yesterday that Clinton-Dix had been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules. Indefinitely could mean one game or the whole season. Usually it's up to the player as to when he comes back. That's why Saban said he didn't know when Clinton-Dix would be back.

If it were an eligibility issue I highly doubt he would have been practicing with the team yesterday.

I don't follow Alabama players so my bad if it's old. Why is it just now making news if it's been known and isn't anything new?

''Landon Collins really doesn't play the same position,'' the coach said. ''We've been working him at that position. Nick Perry was really Ha Ha's backup. Nick Perry's out, he had shoulder surgery. So he would have obviously been a guy who had experience, who played a lot in games before, who would have played there. But we've been working Landon and Geno Smith, primarily. We moved Geno to safety way back in fall camp. So those are the two guys that will primarily play that position in this game.''

I didnt realize LC was a third stringer coming into the year.

Is Geno Smith any good?
