Gus will not be fired (and Arkansas is just a shade better than Auburn)

... as long as Saban is at Alabama and can pull out a victory at least 1 in 3 seasons. Gus is the only coach to be able to muster 3 wins vs Saban. He must know something We all know Auburn has an inferiority complex and only cares about beating big brother blah blah blah, etc.
I vote we put a moratorium on this discussion as there is nothing new that can be added to it and I move that we talk about other things like how Arkansas is going put an arse-whooping on Auburn this weekend!
Btw, feels great to finally get that first SEC win in (what feels like) decades.

Normally, since this is Gus’ Super Bowl, I’d say that we’re a lock to drill you guys. But, that was before adding the “Chad factor” to the mix. Seems like he left some pretty good players behind, and, with proper coaching, are a decent team. Now, add in their motivation of absolute hatred for the man, and you’ve got a recipe for a whipping of biblical proportions. This beat down very well could be therapeutic for the entire state of Arkansas.

I'm genuinely confused. Did he leave or was he fired? You make it sound like he left Arkansas to be an assistant for Gus.

My bad. Not at all. I guess my point was that the Arkansas team has a genuine dislike for Chad for the way he ran things. After he was fired, and landed at Auburn, it added additional motivation for you guys to beat us. It’s not just Gus anymore. It’s Gus and Chad.

Point taken. Thanks for explaining.
