It's a matter of practicality and time efficiency. Why do I want start up my laptop/desktop if all I want to do is look at some stuff on a message board? Much easier to just look at my phone unless I'm already on the computer.

Again...they are recruiting better because they have played better.
Better recruiting doesn't instantly translate to more success. Chad Morris's last season at Clemson had the best talent but was his worst.

Come on, man. I get it. He did a poor job as a head coach while at Arkansas
You clearly don't cause again "poor" is a hypebolic understatement. It was the worst tenure of any head coach in P5 football this century, the worst in Razorback history, and probably all of D1 CFB since 2000 but I'm not doing the research to determine that. Anything less than "God fricking awful" is not doing justice to how horrible his tenure was.

You need to let it go. Morris is gone.
Just imagine your team going 2-10 back to back years? Can you even do it? Can you even imagine your team being that fricking bad? No way. No fricking way. No one can envision it. You can't actually picture your team losing to Troy can you? What about Georgia State? Old Dominion? What about 2 of them in 1 season? Those are the equivalent programs Chad lost to here at Arkansas. There is no getting over it, there's just trying to forget it happened.

He sure is and I appreciate the sentiment.

I just find the phone versions more difficult...but I am an old guy, so....

FBS i guess is the correct acronym if you're asserting CFB would encapsulate D1-AA as well.

Here is what happened when he went to Clemson:
The 2 years prior to Morris' arrival, Clemson went a combined 15–12, including a record of 6–7 in 2010. Morris introduced a hurry-up, spread offense that helped Clemson to a 42–11 mark over the next four seasons.[3] In December 2011, Morris became tied with Gus Malzahn as the highest paid assistant in college football after Clemson University gave Morris a six-year contract worth $1.3 million annually.[4]
Like we are saying...he may not be head coach material, but he seems to be a very solid OC.

Hey....if it were me, I would want to forget Chad Morris as quickly as possible. he was a terrible head coach. Be happy with what you have and forget what is in the past.

God Gus is an idiot. Auburn is fricked if Chaggie is calling the plays.

Call me when he is wearing a bodysuit and dragging the Heisman trophy around the parking lot. Everything else is just bush league.

Yes he was bad at Arkansas but that program had shite talent. He will have more weapons at his fingertips now.
He took over a team of mostly 3 star players and lost to 4 teams with mostly 2 star players. Western ky, north tx, San Jose and CSU.
It’s hard for me to believe he could be a good coordinator. I saw no week to week game planning. There were no in game adjustments. Players hated him and didnt play hard for him.

Gus is 10 times the play caller Chad is.
Aubie football will be a dumpster fire if Chad has the offensive reigns.

Actually this is how he keeps his job. He called plays this year and had a decent season. He loses 4 O linemen for next season and AU will take a step back.
This is next level planning. He can point to Morris's pre-Arkansas track record as to why he gave him a chance to call the plays and then dump him under the bus if it fails.
And so what if Gus is fired? He's still owed a ton of money (75% of the remaining salary when fired) and with half of it due within 30 days.

--> As of the end of last year, it would cost $27,050,000 for a buyout. Source.

He does well at programs like Auburn and Clemson though. Arkansas missed the cut.
