That said, did Swain miss the 4th quarter?

Yes. He did not see the field the rest of the game.

because they're out of a job when gus leaves. They're not going to be retained, so why would they risk being out of a job when they could follow gus?

so are nutt and malzhan the same, or are you saying that arky fans have a unique gift of sniffing out trouble that AD's haven't caught onto yet?

people have a hard time seeing the bad side of themselves.

coaches who try to manipulate players, other coaches, and their AD aren't going to last more than 4 or 5 years.

If I was scoring trim as hot as bert does, I wouldn't really have a whole lot of motivation to try and stay in shape either.

Malzhan sounds like Obama and Sgt Shultz. I know nothing, I see nothing!

A player doesn't do that unless it's been discussed.

Well we won a title and fired our last coach in 3 years. So 4 or 5 and a title seems ok.

Then again i don't buy into every rumor i hear from disgruntled fans. That's just me though.

Let's get that out of the way.

I for one think it was tacky and a punk move. He would be suspended for one game.

No, lets not.

At least get the quote right.

Coach Malzahn on the Anthony Swain situation: "I could see why people questioned it. I've coached for 23 years and I've never told a player to fake an injury. ... I promise you this, moving forward there will be no questionable issues like that again."
