Yep. Mett goes 64% for 298 yards and 5 touchdowns, and this dude will be booming everyone he sees.

Choc I actually agree there. We will get a few we get them most games. Our corners are very aggressive.

Mett will do well, but he isn't going near 300 yards and certainly won't complete more than 60 percent.

I don't think anyone on LSU's side expects Mett to throw for 300 plus; he's only done it twice this year. Throwing for 60% is a different story. Think Saints v. Bears this past weekend. Mett will take whats there and manage the game. I doubt LSU really gives UF's corners a chance to shine. Last year's LSU gameplan (used by all the SEC) is no longer viable. You can't just stuff the run and dare them to pass. You have to pick your poison and they've got the skill set to take advantage of whatever opportunities are given. Maybe we're talking 4 yards here and there instead of 15 but doesn't three 4 yard gains equal a first down?

The stat that interests me the most on both sides is third down efficiency. Florida is great at stopping them and LSU is great at converting them. Serious question, is Florida so good at stopping them because they've forced teams into third and long situations? LSU has been really good this year at third and long situations. Nonetheless, I like the chances of this Offense being able to get to third and short/medium better than anyone else Florida has faced. Then what?

Florida is going to give up some passing yards, and a lot of penalty yards on PI as well. They key is keeping them out of the end zone and controlling the run. Yards are basically meaningless.

The recipe for stopping LSU is pretty much the same as any other game. Control the LOS, pressure the QB.

Ballgame.

If UF fails to do that they won't win.

Love the taunting based on stats. If LSU wins, I'm going to talk so much shite to the 18 Florida fans on this site and it won't be based on the fact that we racked up 12 yards per attempt or something like that.
