How many linebackers do you think a football team carries?

I love the injury angle being played up. Everybody has injuries most years. Our OL has been injured and shuffled all year long. Kerryon Johnson and Pettway have played together in one game in the past 17 games. Multiple starters on Defense have missed multiple games. Enjoy the press you are getting for your teams injuries...most teams don't get that kind of coverage.
I mean, it is what it is, but don't act like it's nothing.
We're missing 4 of our top 5 linebackers. How would Auburn's defense look with a LB group of Tre Williams, Richard McBryde and KJ Britt?
It is what it is, it's football. But don't act like it's some little thing that everybody goes through all the time.

"Most teams do not get that much coverage" re injuries. Exactly. LSU has started 3 freshmen OL since that game we do not talk about, Key was absent most of the season, LSU's best defensive player, Guice has been injured most of the season & is just now getting back into 5th gear. How much sympathy has LSU gotten, let alone even noticed? Look at the number of players the Gators lost. Regardless of the why. For the season. etc etc. Yet, only bama loses players & it's a big deal.

Everyone who discussed LSU discussed all of those issues. LSU just wasn't on the national stage so ESPN didn't discuss it.
Everytime I saw LSU mentioned I read or heard about their OL and Key/Guice's injuries.

Apparently you guys are missing the fact that all of Alabama's injuries have been primarily at one position.
