I just want everyone in the Hog nation to know that I hate you all and hope you all die in fires, sooner rather than later. I wanted Anderson at Bama when we were hiring so bad I wanted to just go down to Tuscaloosa and hold a gun to whoevers head I needed to to get it done. But I cant say im disapointed by Grant at all and am now happy we got him instead. Doesnt mean I want to see Anderson at another team in the SEC though.

I was serious about the death by fire part by the way.

Get out of here with your logic.

Arkansas is the best basketball program in the SEC. Cept Kantuckey.

Florida is just delusional. They know it. We know it.

I'm really not sure why the sheep humpers from college station want to "brag" about them beating Mizzou/Anderson. WTF does that have to do with Arkansas, who nearly beat you guys this year in Dallas with one of our worst teams in a very long time and a joke of a coach. Arkansas isn't Mizzou. Period. You are either a kid, or just stupid (or both) if you think Anderson at Mizzou=Anderson at Arkansas.

I will explain to you what I am talking about. Go to Mizzou's site and check his last 6 games this year. 1 win vs a lowly Iowa St. team. 5 arse whippings. 1-7 on the road in conference play this year. So far outcoached by Self and others in the Big 12. He looks like a little league coach against them. Trying to press the whole game and having lay-ups shot against his team the whole game and never making any change or adjustment. Not anywhere near a big time coach. Any decently coached team will destroy that pressure defense and make his team look silly. Saw it over and over. If he keeps using that "system" he will get walloped time and again. Nice guy, yes. A 2.2 mil coach ? Laughable.

There are a few on their board that think he stepped down OR made a lateral move.

This coming from a school that has a great coach and a good team NOW, and they still can't fill up their frickn seats at their shitey arena.

96-50 in basketball
40-24-3 in football

that makes for a sour bunch of Aggies

No, not a Mizzou fan. Just close enough to be able to follow what actually went on when he "coached" there. My father is the winningest high school basketball coach in the history of the state of Missouri. 960+ wins from 1958-2005.

We beat you in Basketball despite shooting 21% in the first half and 23% from 3 pt land with our worst team since 2004.... which still made the tourney.

And I wasn't talking shite through Mizzou. I really wasn't talking shite at all. I was making a comment that I'm sorry to see him go because we owned Mizzou and that style of play. Turgeon does very well against pressure teams. He struggles against long athletic Zone teams like Syracuse and FSU.

Oh, and I don't think Anderson is a bad coach. If you're getting that from my post, you misunderstood. I think Anderson is a good coach, but he's certainly not great. You made a good hire, but I think you could have done better had you been able to steal a Buzz Williams from Marquette or a Greg Marshall from WSU. Buzz is 10x the recruiter Anderson is.

With that said, congrats on getting the guy you wanted, and I wish you luck next year.

I don't think Mike would have left Missouri for any other school.

Really? The two SEC teams that played for the SEC championship, one that won the regular season and the other the tourney and the only two in the SEC left in the NCAAs are not the pinnacle of SEC basketball????

This guy has convinced himself that Arkansas basketball needs to be mentioned in the same breath as North Carolina and Kansas, and maybe the Lakers and Celtics, too.

So, you would agree that the program is head and shoulders better now, than what it was then. You would also agree that Anderson took that program to its pinnacle.

Okay? Is this supposed to make your posts seem more credible? Because it doesnt.

I've been ignoring their 4,549,399 post long thread so I've forgotten how persnickety most of the UPig fans are.

@ Aggy.

Bud Walton is the best looking 18 year old building ever. Damn thing looks brand new still from the outside.

I'll check back here for PC details. I might be able to sneak away and get some.
