Who do you think is a better Safety?

Until Delpit stomps somebody's arse at the beach I'm gonna have to go with Thompson

Thompson’s the rangy “Malik Hooker” type to Delpits Jamaal Adams box safety type whom both went first round two years ago. Not too comparable but will both be first rounders. Delpits skill set may make him a top ten pick, while Thompson not playing a lot of snaps pre-2018 May push him to later in the first. By the time Delpits hits the draft he will have almost played 3 full years.

Delpit has been a TM7-type game changer so far this season. With Chaisson's injury he'll pile up sacks and TFLs along with his usual INTs and PBUs

Delpit is always the better safety even more than White is always the best linebacker.

I agree, Thompson can lay a big hit too. Best Bama safety I’ve seen in a while.

Mathieu
TM7 had a nose for the endzone but Delpit has just as many game-changing plays.
And I'm part of the crowd that thinks TM7 was the best defensive player ever for LSU. Delpit just has to keep it up and he'll be right there. Delpit will never have the STs impact TM7 had but defensively he's on pace.

Both seem to be playing really well. Just more in a long line of Safety studs from LSU and Bama the last decade plus.

Delpit’s parents are also very nice folks. He’s good people.

Delpit cause he balls out, plays for my team, and I don't have any reason to watch Bama play football until they play LSU.

1-0 vs lol nicky though
Anyway, the OP should be changed to Deionte Thompson vs Daniel Thomas since they're the only two nationally relevant safeties in this conference
Not even sure exactly who the other guy is tbh

I mean nice evidence but you can’t say not sure who that guy is when he literally picked y’all off first play of the game.
