D.

They didn’t fail, but they also get no credit.

Excited to see what we can do on offense when we have our weapons back:

A&M is a B- or C+. We put up some yards and threw downfield. Too many interceptions. OL looks not too bad, Defense was missing a lot of starters yet still held a high scoring offense to ten points.

Work in progress, and will be a bit of a rollercoaster on offense

Is there a grade below F?

We should be expelled from football operations.

B+. (considering TH lost to Maryland, twice, should be A++)

C+ or B-

Defense i do not like. Maybe it was just situational i dont know. Offense was ok.

Defense; Per Louisiana message boards (from others), their QB's game is a roll out, RPO kinda guy. Texas' front kept him in the pocket and made him make short throws all day.

Offense; No turnovers, no false starts, no delay of game, and scored on 6/8 possessions (missed a FG), not counting end of half.

Have to give Auburn an A.

Even if our opponent was awful, executing to near perfection with new schemes on both sides of the ball is impressive.

The key will be can we take it on the road and we will figure that out in a few weeks. But I think it’s safe to say we are ahead of schedule based on what a lot of people thought we would be this year.

Mizzou C-

The D-line got to Central's QB 9 times, which is pretty good, but then again, it is Central Michigan. We scored 34, but, it was Central Michigan. We gave up 27, to Central Michigan. The O-line could not open holes, and we were playing Central Michigan.

We have a tradition of really bad opening games. I just hop they get this fixed, whatever "this" is.

State: D

Horrible focus and preparation. Looked slow, sloppy, and uninterested. Game 2 will either show a focused and ready team or it’s panic time. Should know mid 2nd quarter if we are an auto win or team that can grind it out. Im not hopeful.

Dropped an entire letter grade due to quality of opposition.

Likewise, if we play an absolutely perfect game next week, the highest I would give us would be a C+ since our next opponent is considerably worse.
