It sorta sounds that way. At the time Drew was a gamble for either team. Maybe Saban didn't want to blow smoke up his butt and act like he was in love with him. It was obviously very personal for Drew.

They are not helping Drew either, I haven't read his book because 99% of athletes books are biased in some regard. However I can find countless articles that offer different opinions than the ones listed.
They are making Drew sound just like a jilted lover, that Saban did not believe in him, they did not give him the attention he wanted, that Drew needed to call Saban later just to confirm if Saban even wanted him.

they did spell it out, drew ws acting like he needed attention and saban wouldn't give it to him. he needed comfort knowing saban believed in him and it hurt his feelings knowing saban believed in the medical doctors more. you guys really are making drew seem like a baby here, someone that needs comfort, attention, and encouragement from those around him.
