i was going to post that sooner but i got side tracked. to bad that thread is anchored bc i beat some unsuspecting ranter would have fallen for it.

No doubt.. hate the other one was anchored too. I couldn't get that radio station to load, so I don't know if Randle's dad really did say he was lied to and they really do have second thoughts. I guess late tonight or tomorrow we'll know for sure.

yea that sucks. what was the lied to part? i missed that, I saw the him and benton thing but is this something different?

This is what I saw. May be the same thing, but I just caught it a few minutes ago:
I went out to my car and caught the end of the Dad's comments. They went to break, came back and the host basicly recap saying that the LSU coaches promised them one thing and then said soemthig else to Benton. They went on to say that they would have had LSU as the front runner before the interview, and would now put them at third.
Eta - again.. I didn't get to hear the show, so this could be B.S. It's been so entertaining and hard to tell what's made up and not now. Tomorrow will tell the tale though.

Possible, but there are a couple of other threads talking about hearing his dad. Tonight is going to have everyone freaking out. It may be a good thing I have to work for a few hours.

yup. No matter where about 3 people go tomorrow, Lsu and Bama both have top 5 classes coming in.

it'd be nice to get RR and sure if we don't coupled with McKnight two years ago we'd catch some grief with 2 #1 type guys in 3 yrs leaving Louisiana. With that said,we're in big trouble either way if one player is going to make that much difference to the program.

yep and as i said the other day number 1 isnt a big deal to me and is debatable anyways. as long as we bring in big talent and fill our needs im happy. All the top classes are basically the same and it comes down to coaching them

Short-term perception would be the only thing hurt. But I'd hope you'd hurt 4 more times over the next 4 years with him on our team.
