He would’ve never seen the field if he came to Auburn. Gus ran a clean program.

The four Auburn players arrested for possession of marijuana in April — Byron Cowart, Carlton Davis, Ryan Davis and Jeremiah Dinson — won’t miss any playing time.

Auburn coach Gus Malzahn announced the decision during a session with beat reporters who cover the team before a full day of interviews at the SEC Media Days at the Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover.

The situation Malzahn faced entering SEC media days wasn't new to him. In 2014, former quarterback Nick Marshall was not allowed to attend the event after being cited for marijuana possession days before.
Clean Program Gus

Dismissed Auburn wide receiver D’haquille “Duke” Williams punched four people at a bar on Saturday night, reports AL.com's Mark Helm.

Williams, who was dismissed from the team by head coach Gus Malzahn on Monday night, reportedly punched two security guards, a bartender assistant and another bar patron following Auburn's 35–21 win over San Jose State on Saturday night.

Duke and the clean program

While Gus (finally) kicked Duke Williams off the team reports stated that he had been in fights in practice with teammates before this incident.

So, far Pickens has not been in any fights off field that I am aware of,(And certainly not among teammates) and has been behaving other than a stupid, childish penalty or two.

Former NFL player James Brooks was found to be illiterate when he was unable to read court documents after admitting to not paying over $100k in child support. When the judge asked how he graduated from Auburn without being able to read, he said, "Didn't have to go to to class."

Based on the fact that he has some bad folks in his inner circle. there was a reason neither UA or AU pushed for him.

Pretty sure UGA fans have seen enough of his BS to get it now

An individual isn’t his inner circle.

Wait....he is a thug of the highest order because of people in his circle? So...he hasn't hurt anybody, but he is a thug of the highest order?

What has he done? I am genuinely curious.

The guy is a thug but that didn't start when he got to UGA.

He is a really good player.

I'm not saying Pickens is a thug or that either of these offenses are atrocious or anything, but the spraying the water bottle on a player on the sideline and the whole dust-up with the GT defensive back are probably examples of what makes other fan bases say "thuggish" while we tend to think "high-spirited and competitive".

Immature, I can see. Thug or thuggish? I mean, he didn't start the fight with the GT player. Watch the video. And pushing ans shoving on a football field is hardly a rare occurrence.

And squirting water on another player? Crap. I can only imagine how these people must feel about the players actually pulling guns on people, committing armed robbery, getting into fights in bars assaulting girlfriends etc....but hey...Pickens is "a thug of the highest order".

Bama and Barner fans are so butthurt over him they resort to unbased name calling. And when you ask them why they’re all like,

“Well there were some rumors I heard that one of his friends in high school did something that I can’t talk about”

Like what?

The water bottle thing was just dumb and the fight with GT is one that he got baited into. GT knew they had no chance to win so they wanted to try and get Pickens suspended for the SECCG.

I have the same question lol But on the field. Pickens seems fine character wise. Although not sure why he didnt travel to Florida last year.

Probably cause he had 1 rec for 4 yds the previous year.
