The NHL encourages fighting and thuggery. It is definitely part of their culture. Football does not encourage that behavior.

So you take the word of a white man over a black man? Shocker.

This idiot still believes OJ is innocent, Mike Nifong was an honest DA, Jussie Smollett was attacked and Bubba Wallace was the target of a terrorist noose attack. These critical race theorists are the worst.

Meh. They could just tell everyone it was a BLM protest and it will be fine. It was a Mississippi and Tulsa school out there after all.

The NHL tolerates paying back cheap shots with punches.

Okay, you are just a dumb. Fights have been happening in football for 100 years.

Lol they say it’s a disgrace, hard to watch, violent, etc.....and they are the ones who cut back so the nation could watch the violence. Nobody would have known any different if they just ignored the fight and continued the post game coverage in the studio. fricking ESPN, they love this shite.

If implemented properly, it would help the game.
It’s a contact sport, refs aren’t going to catch 50%+ of the dirty hits and cheap shots.

The reason the NHL is not harsh on fighting is because it reduces the need for ref interference. It’s often referred to as “self policing”.

It still needs to be banned by the rules, but I don’t think a player punching someone making cheap shots on their team mates should result in anything but a few yards and maybe a few missed plays. These brawls happen because the heat between the teams are allowed to build for hours during the game.

ESPN has run off its good talent and kept a bunch of B- teamers. They will be sold off by Disney within 5 years.
The mornings are impossible to watch.

ESPN has a lot of good, younger talent, but they insist on having these washed up, middle age+ men call and comment on these games.

Part of the problem is a lot of their good talent just gets sent to NFL-land and CFB gets stuck with the C-team.
