You are right. My memory isn’t as good as I thought it was. Still, it doesn’t change the fact UT should be embarrassed that the game was even that close

Exciting things are happening with UT football. My nephew, a UT grad but a huge Bama fan keeps me posted. He says there are a lot of those in and around Knoxville now. Also says Pruitt has turned up the heat on a no prisoner's taken off season. Particularly on both lines where Tennessee is weak. And they are getting an early start on recruiting. Fact is he likely made an error bringing in some very experienced and outstanding position coaches when he probably should have hired a younger staff to beat the bushes recruiting the first year since they were not gonna be worth a damn anyway. They did manage an upset of Auburn and a bowl. I'm pulling for the Vols since the east frankly sucks and needs a strong UT. But they have got to get some SEC football players to do so.

Looking forward to Tennessee at least becoming competitive again so the third week in Oct can be a fun occasion rather than over in the first half. Damn 12 in a row and 13 of the last 14 has destroyed UT football. Plus you have to get back to where you can compete with UGA and UF. But a baby has to crawl first so start with competing with Vandy and Mizzou.
