I don't have any problems with high school kids.

Just pointing out there's a differnce in "thanking god" for a scholarship and a school having a "Godly atmosphere" to another Aubie shitbird.

This is the SEC Rant not some high school recruit's Facebook page. We're not believing the shitbird story here. Take it to some Auburn board if you can't stand the heat.

Dude,I have been to auburn a number of times. I lived in Alabama for many years and it will always be home. The auburn area is a little bigger than Fayetteville, maybe. But nwa is basically one city, that is much larger than the auburn area. The nwa area has more to do than auburn.
I think those kids just didn't want to go to Arkansas. So please don't act like anyone would want to go to auburn because there is a lot to do. Fayetteville is a great town, but the university of Arkansas does not define the area.

arkansas is in the middle of NOWHERE man. im not saying its not an awesome state, arkansas is beautiful and the outdoor activities are second to none... its just not a place most 18 year old football players want to spend college. auburn atleast has atlanta within an hour and a half.

There must be a lot churches in Atlanta. joking.

I moved to nwa when I was young and loved it. Tell me what can an 18 year old do in auburn that makes it so great? I got to tell you if I was 18 again Atlanta would not be my first choice of places to hang out.

Why do you keep asking me questions that aren't
relevant?

If you can't see the difference between someone saying they are thankful for something they received and saying a non-religious based college in Alabama is a Godly place I can't help you.

It is a crock of shite even if the kid really believes it.

You coming on here asking why people are having a problem with a kid being a Christian is a much bigger crock of shite.

You should have enough sense to know no one has a problem with a kid being a Christian. I doubt anyone has a problem believing the kid is sincere.

Its Auburn shitbirds lining up on the wire acting like they don't see the humor in these occurrences to the rest of the adults that post here that bothers me.

+1. It's not a problem with the prospects being Christians. It's a problem with the coaches passing on religion to the prospects like they're more holier than thou. It's a bunch of rubbish.

you obviously have a problem with someone being a christian. christians usually try to get others to convert. there is nothing wrong with that. if the players dont want to be there, in a "Godly atmosphere" they can go to the other 116 D1 schools out there.

Your right I'm not an African American teen. By your logic Georgia tech must have kids knocking down the door.

I know it is hard to believe but there are a lot places other than the south to go to college. I'm guessing you have never been out of Alabama.

Yea it seems to really be a downer "RUBBISH" sort of thing. I am sure the recruits will catch on soon...BTW if it is as bad as you say and an opposing team was doing that I would encourage it because it is all BS anyway right? It should hurt the school eventually right? So I would just say cool keep it up, dig that hole.

I have absolutely no problem with Christians and I'm one. I just think it's ridiculous to try an use it as an advantage in the recruiting process. That's all from me.
