Yet you did with a coach who was 5-19 at Iowa State
again.....
just two years prior, he was the highest regarded defensive assistant in the nation. he had led two defenses at two different schools to top 5 total D's and back to back undefeated years. he was the Broyles award winner, and the hottest name on the coaching block that was an assistant. he rushed into becoming a head coach, and took a shitty job. nobody wins at ISU.

I just don't think selling religion in recruiting is right. I think it's a shady act. I think in recruiting you should sell your depth chart, facilities, academics, and fans. If that's not enough to get recruits, it sucks to be you. I don't think coaches should get involved in religion when it comes to HS athletes. They're not priests, they're coaches. I'm not saying AU is dirty for doing it, but I think it shows poor taste.
... and I know Christians aren't perfect and what those kids did at AU were just mistakes, but when you sell religion to recruits, other coaches can question if the program is really ran with religious intentions when those mistakes are made. See what I'm getting at now?

we are not "selling" religion. Chizik is a very strong Christian, and is something that he believes is very important into making a kid into a man. he believes in the Lord, and that all should know Him as well. he doesnt force it on anybody. i respect him more for not folding to others beliefs, and sticking to his. the south is a very religious part of the US, Chizik isnt afraid of using the Lord and thinks his position is a way of getting more to see the light.

we'd all be talking about them if they would have performed some circumcisions.

wtf is there to do in arkansas? why do you think all the top recruits leave? its fricking blows. you have some great outdoor spots, but that is not what 18 yr olds are looking for.

It's not his position to do that though. He's a football coach. We're going to agree to disagree on this one, but it's obvious based on numerous players interviews that AU uses religion heavily in the recruiting process. You can argue with me until you're blue in the face, but facts are facts, and these kids talk about it in their interviews after going to AU all the time.
We can agree to disagree. I don't think it's Chiziks place to pass religion on recruits though.
