The problem with Kneyland is it isn't built to handle as many people as it seats. there are way to many people on each set of bleachers. for the same amount of space that every other stadium in the country has 3 rows kneyland has one, and they take one seat and turn it into two. the walkways outside the stadium where the bathrooms and vending are is so tight only two people can pass by at a time. If you want to go to the bathroom in the middle of a game you are going to miss a quarter of football. at least that is my experience and why I consider it a dump. never understood how that place passes fire codes.

Having heard this from some other SEC fans(never fans of non-conference visitors, interestingly enough), I don't buy it. I've been to other SEC stadiums and your descriptions are entirely exagerrated.

I've heard an UGA fan say that Neyland would only seat 85,000 if the seats were "normal". bullshite. I've been to the Swamp, which seats over 90,000. Neyland is clearly sizably larger than the Swamp. Just look at a freakin picture. It aint hard to tell. I agree the concourses and exterior need work but thats getting fixed big time as we speak.

it's probably a visitor section/ upper deck vs. alumni seats kinda thing. but everything I typed is 100% true about the section I sit in.

AOK. Just thought I'd defend my stadium. That and recruiting are about all we got going right nowadays.

EDIT: I was about to say, "that and women's basketball" but even that sucked last year. LMAO

Man last year was horrible. Hopefully Pat will have this team turned around by this coming season. Yes, I like WCB'ball.

No shame brother. I liked it when Candace was playing. Never seen a woman ball like that.

I've seen a game at Husky Stadium and it's hands down the best venue for a football game I have ever been to... besides the dome of course.

Hey UPT, can you post that photograph of Husky Stadium on The Rant? L.S.U. opens the season at Washington this year and I want all the Tiger fans to see the stadium. Everybody is excited about making that trip..........

Those are from 2001 & 2004. Several stadiums have had upgrades since then. Neyland Stadium is a dump!

Tennessee, Michigan, or Penn State. Imagine a Saturday night in Death Valley with over 100,000 fans.

I'm loving the fact that our stadium has been named #1 stadium in the country from every publication from sporting news to sports illustrated but according to at least three posters here its "crap".

every publication? LOL

trust me, I'm not a hater. I love K-ville and dated a vol for 5 years and been to a lot of games there. But it would be hard to find any oppossing fan that likes that stadium. It's pretty from pictures but a nightmare to sit in. I doubt any publication that voted Neyland #1 has ever sat in that stadium.
