That Bama had numerous starters out with injury doesn't need spinning as it is a fact. As your coach said, you were healthier than you had been in a long time while Bama was depleted. You had no replacement for Bowers if he had been out, so you didn't need depth. You needed to be lucky to not have many significant injuries and for Bama to have a lot

Excuses and hypotheticals.
But...
If...
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the current state of Alabama football.

Don’t act like bowers was an unstoppable force in our win over bama. We could have found 36 yards from other players.

Alabama LOST to Mississippi State and Notre Dame!!!!!
So now Alabama is proud of their "quality" losses???

How do you explain the loss to Southern Miss??? Injuries? Alabama was "depleted"?

This should be good.

Alabama had a great defense and not so great offense. The total points scored in those 2 games against Alabama was 13.

If you want to make a thread about Alabama's schedules, feel free. Those were just the 2 games you mentioned against ranked teams.

Alabama beat Southern Miss 42-7, so I don't know what you are talking about, and I doubt you do either.

Texas had more total yards than Alabama.

Garrett Gilbert was a true freshman who threw 4 interceptions, including a pick 6.

Sub was the most dominant player in College Football. He whipped the shite out of everybody.

Alabama shut it down the 2nd half and was just running the ball over and over killing clock. The first 3 Alabama drives after were 3 and outs with 80% being run plays.

A few busted plays when the defense was being lazy didn't really mean much. As soon as Texas scored, the offense started moving the ball again, and when it got close the defense and offense both kicked it back in. Alabama finished with touchdowns and Texas finished with Fumble, Interception, Interception.

16 point loss.

Gilbert completed less than 40% of his passes, and spent the majority of the game running for his life.

It isn't a hypothetical that Bama blew you out with their players healthy.

It’s not a coincidence uga had even more players hurt for that game than a bama did. Salyer and Chris smith should not have been playing as hurt as they were. They got healthy for game 2.

No, you didn't have numerous starters out with injury. You use players like JTD as a starter and then argue with someone else how well SB played and was the key to the game. That's spinning.

You are speculating on what would have happened without Bowers and that you would have gotten the score he provided and the plays he made in a one score game. We don't have to speculate on Williams and Metchie as we saw what Bama did when they played.

I can promise you Georgia has never worried about playing one of these teams…take a wild guess

Interesting argument that players who played were the reason for the blowout. I guess that destroys and contradicts your argument about Georgia's depth superiority.

If players out isn’t an excuse, then neither is hurt players playing. This was in addition to the players who didn’t play. Add all of that up, and bama has a clear adv in game 1. Things were even in game 2 though as our depth was better.

Since it’s over your head, the best example of uga’s excellent depth was our backup qb, Bennett, stepping up for JTD, and playing so well.

36 yards is replaceable for uga. That is safe to assume. Was it not for bama? Probably not.

It’s speculation for game 2. Replay Games rarely played out the same way in the rematch.

That's absurd. Either a player is cleared to play or he isn't. Every player has bumps and bruises at the end of the year. The only standard that makes sense is whether they are cleared to play. If they are then they good to go.

You mean the TD where he broke 4 tackles?

It isn't speculation that Williams had 4 catches for 64 yards in 1 quarter. In 5 quarters Georgia hadn't been able to cover him, so it is logical they wouldn't in the other 3 even without Metchie.

Not all knocks and bruises are the same. A player who has a sprained ankle, or separated shoulder, playing at 75% just ain’t the same as a healthy player playing at 100%.

We didn't run the ball very well in the SECCG either. We had 421 through the air and that was the reason we won.

Not a single bama player touched him on that td. It was wide open, as his man totototo was focused on the run, with a backup wr blocking.
