I don't start a lot of threads, so I don't know what you are talking about.

I do make my opinion known about UGA quite often in UGA threads though.

i think you have a much better shot beating MSU and SC. your defense may be better, but SC's offense should be improved as well. the big difference is that SC's defense will be very stout, and i think Murray will have a tough time finding outlets, even though i think he's the best in the SEC. but UGA could win and could beat Boise as well. i think UT is the must win game for UGA.

everyone is setting up conditions for Richt to meet or get fired. has anyone considered he may quit? Richt is a good coach, but he's implied before that he doesn't want to coach his whole life. I could see him jumping ship on his own.

Of the 3 threads you started (I looked it up, stopped like mid/late- june) 2 of them were about UGA. 66% of your threads in the past month have been about UGA. A LOT of your posts have been in UGA related threads. You clearly are Dawgsessed. It's ok. I know, we're pretty cool and always appreciate the attention. Keep on keepin on brotha

I am clearly dawgsessed.

But you guys are about as cool as the 58 year old, balding, former Disco King who still wears his powder-blue leisure suite and 3-inch stacks to impress the ladies.

UGA has to win this game. Do not let your SEC brethren down.

UGA is somewhat of an unknown this season. I can see them winning the East though. First two games are uber important.

See 3 L's ... Close call on Richt ... SEC record is 5-3 but your W's are against the absolute "bottom 5" in the conference ... better not slip up & lose any OOC game; there is ZERO room for error.

Wow, I forgot Georgia lost to UCF 10-6.

So what happened in the offseason to make UGA better than that?

2nd year for 3-4 defense (usually the biggest improvement year after a switch). D-line should be stout as well as linebackers. Best special teams in the country. Top returning SEC passer. Line and RB should be troublesome. If our D can play like we expect them to, we will be in every single ballgame with a chance to win.

They lost their running backs, the best receiver in the country and the best pass rusher in the conference from last year and their Oline has been bleeding players like a stuck pig

Obviously they will be a million times better

Despite losing their best offensive play maker and nearly all of their experience at Tailback, UGA is able to improve on their previous record. In thanks, primarily to an easy schedule.

7-5 in the regular season. 7-6 after the bowl game. (Probably another loss in the liberty bowl).

Don't be an idiot. I guess everyone should have expected alabama's defense to be the EXACT same in 2008 as it was in 2007 right? We get one of the best NGs in the country to plug into the 2nd year of the 3-4. We add a stud linebacker who had to sit out last year. Murray will be in his 2nd year starting. We have an actual homerun threat at RB that we haven't since 2008. Our coaches are coaching for their jobs. We have one of the easiest schedules in school history.

But nahh...it's not possible for us to improve from one year to the next

Pretty much my view as well. Pretty hard to fire a coach with a winning season but considering CMR's record vs Florida and our easy schedule, I think Richt has to go at least 8-4 including a win over Florida to get a contract extension. His current contract extends through 2013 so he would still have one more year to turn things around. If it doesn't happen he will be looking for greener pastures because no coach wants to be working in the last year of his contract.
