We are on the same page. Ideally, you have two stud QBs (one starter and one developing) and somebody like a Stetson Bennett that may not be great but is a serviceable back up in case of injury, but is willing to wait their turn knowing it may or may not ever happen.

I think most UGA fans know that Bennett is not the best option going into the title game, but is serviceable and if he protects the ball gives us a shot at winning. He is not meant to win us the game, but just keep from losing it. Bennett's problem is he wants to be the miracle story and make the huge game winning throw...and he puts the ball up hoping for a miracle. That gets us in trouble.

But yes. I agree with you. (Sorry for the long post. It's a personality disorder of mine. )
