even throwing in the CSU game....the schedules are close if not a wash....your schedule honestly has not been that brutal to this point

I agree. But hopefully, the Tigers have improved enough to compete with Florida at this point.

u guys will compete no doubt, and the atmosphere won't hurt either...but i think we are a more complete team and in the end won't be rattled by 90,000 screaming fans and should come out with a hard fought W

Brantley will be just fine if he has to play. Kid has a cannon arm if he needs to throw. Otherwise he'll be handing off to an RB in multiple formations. I think my optimism is fueled mostly by the fact that I neither see LSU scoring more than 13 points, nor do I see Florida scoring fewer than 20.

Stat overload kinda misses the point... but I agree to this point in the season Florida clearly looks like the better team... that's kinda why they are ranked #1 and LSU looked like a shaky #4 entering the UGA game

UF is ranked #1, LSU is ranked #40 in total defense. I think the offenses each team have faced are pretty much even so far.
Why does everyone look at yards when talking about how good a defense is playing. Points and turnovers win games, not yards. Those are the stats to look at to see how teams are playing. LSU is #17 in Scoring Defense giving up 14.80 ppg. UF is #2 giving up 7.25 ppg but has played one less conference game. Also, our defense has forced 11 turnovers, which is 3 more than UF. LSU is ranked #8 in turnover margin at +1.40 while UF is ranked #42 at +.50

If you are going to look at stats, at least look at the ones that matter.

Since you are the stat man why dont you give me brantleys career stats in college up to this point in his career.

Tell me who he has played against, the score of the game when he was put in, and how many snaps he has taking as a college QB.

TIA

If Brantley is starting i dot see how UF could be favored by 9. Thats a joke.

People are so worried about Tebow not playing, they're forgetting UF has the best defense in the nation.

They've had LSU circled on their map all year.

LSU has to play a perfect game. Then again, so will everyone else to beat UF this year.

Seems about right to me. The sleeping giant woke up vs a mediocre Georgia defense. I have a feeling we will see a different story vs Florida's very solid D. The real question though is how well the Tiger defense will perform against Florida's offense without Tebow at the helm. I think this might be a lower scoring game than some might expect. Maybe something like 28 - 17 Gators.

LSU has almost every stat line going against them, but it would be crazy to think that they are going to get walked on like previous Florida opponents. LSU is at home, 5-0, talented and has alot to prove. This game will be a battle like 2007, and a -10 line is going to make me a rich man for a week or so.
