He's only a marginal athlete. His vert was like 35 which isn't, but isn't great

Simple, we like to bullshite things. Though I do think Haden is faster than his Combine time. I mean Major Wright ran a 4.4 and he's not faster than Haden.

There is an electric timer (the official result) in addition to the old guys with stopwatches.
Hence the reason Mays ran a 4.24 on the old guys watch, but a 4.4 with the computer timer.

Haden did look to be carrying a bit more muscle at the combine. Not saying that's an excuse, but I would think he knows he's got the speed for the NFL, so instead he's been concentrating on bulking up.
