If Franklin doesn't get injured on the play, noone says a word. Sucks, but get over it. Wasn't dirty.

One last thing - James Franklin did NOT take a shot at Georgia, that shouldn't even be in the thread title. Pinkel didn't take a shot either, just said he submitted the play for review and wouldn't discuss it any further.

To be fair the bounty thing was a joke I don't think it was a "dirty" hit but curious why no flag was thrown on the play. We have to make up for a lot of short comings for the officiating to allow for plays like this to occur. This kind of no call sends the message it's okay to take unnecessary late hits on players, and it won't be called. Happy now!

I think the initial contact is normal football but the end of the play where the ball is gone and the UGA player drives his shoulder into the ground should have been flagged.
Granted UGA may happily accept a flag since they were successful in knocking out the QB (which was the goal and normally might be considered a game changer)

It looked like a football play to me. I didn't think it was dirty at the time or after watching replays. Excessive? Probably. Dirty? Not really.

So, you were trolling?
The hit wasn't dirty, Herrera should have received the personal foul for slinging him to the ground after the ball was out, and I don't think they were trying to hurt him. No one associated with the program called it dirty, or took a shot at Georgia. They asked for a review. I'd bet every program in the conference does this, there is no reason to publicize it.
