He planned on bringing Mauk in during the week. Like he did with Chase Daniel.

Him bringing Mauk in being planned doesn't make it any less of a dumb move.
Plus, wasn't Chase Daniel coming in and taking snaps from Darius Outlaw, or is my QB progression off?

Looking marginal the last couple drives, but the backup was in taking a couple sacks for the last possession.

Like I said before, I don't think it's scared. It's a move showing he's looking to develop the future and plans to be here.
