I think if Michigan cans Rich Rod, Miles bolts to the Wolverines before LSU fires him. LSU then goes after Butch Davis or perhaps Nutt.

Early is the key word. Believe it or not, I find a lot to be optimistic about. The D-L performed very well. Even though a lot of long pass plays, several of them were well covered. Mallett and receivers will not play this bad again (Bama had a lot to do with that), and except for the blocked punt, the kick coverage did very well.
