It's all part of the game. Plus, you have to factor in the home crowd at Ole Miss. Say what you want, but they have an intimidating atmosphere there. that has to count for something.

yea ole miss actually touched up AR in the box. so id rather a pathetic uva o that struggles to beat ole miss when ole miss is handing them ball games.

D.C. native, but lived in Va for middle and high school. LSU alum. I'm not an Illini fan. Well, I follow their basketball team whenever LSU doesn't make the tournament, thanks to all of the terrible years under John Brady.

UVA has the third best ERA in the nation. LSU has better hitters than us, but I don't see anyone blowing out UVA due to their solid mound work.

The upside is, when I see this happening, I realize that as much as Arkansas chokes away big games, they don't do it with as much regularity as Mississippi.

I would love to beat UVA though so I could talk shite to alot of friends back home. I'm conflicted, on one hand I want bragging rights and on the other their pitching scares me. But, we did just sweep a great Rice team with mediocre baseball for the most part. I think we should be favorites to win it all, but damn if that is not a ridiculous first game match up with Hultzen.

yep im new to the baseball thing since i started following LSU in 03 son. i missed watching all our titles.
I know that good pitching can dominate but the O has still been bad.
