Oh that 17-3. Clearly I had no idea what that meant, it's never mentioned around here. I had forgotten.

Yes, I would like to see FSU in the SEC, I almost went to FSU. And I'd love to see GT join just to see them get stomped.

LOL @ the UF fans not wanting FSU here.

If the gator fans are against it, then im all for it. The East needs to be more competitive anyway.
And I think some of yall are forgetting how bad arse FSU used to be. No reason they cant get back on top.
Im just not sure Meyer's heart could handle it.
Have you seen the Florida-FSU games lately? I am not sure how much competition they would be adding.
FSU was bad arse when they were playing in an extremely weak conference with no competition, same for Miami in the Big East.

UF doesn't want FSU in for the same reason SC doesnt want CU in.. we don't want them having a cut in that huge SEC-ESPN deal + all the BCS $$$ the SEC has been getting. Not to mention it would take away a pretty big recruiting tool. There was thread just yesterday on an SC board about Ellis Johnson telling a recruit if he thought he was only tough enough to play Duke and WF than the ACC was the place for him.

this. Sorry UF fans, your vote is discounted in this one. This is really a no-brainer.
If the Big 11 adds 3, the SEC must follow, sorry.
If it's two, FSU and Ga Tech/Miami make most sense. FSU could go to the west, becoming UF's every yr west opponent.

I like FSU where they are. It's nice having a strong OOC rivalry.

yeah because those great UM and FSU teams wouldnt be able to compete in other conferences

If the ACC loses some teams do they raid the Big East again and take West Virginia and South Florida?
Posted on 5/14/10 at 1:15 pm to roadGator
I would be pretty fired up if the SEC went to 14 teams and Florida St. and Clemson came aboard...there would be plenty of new and renewed rivalries!!
I wouldnt mind aTm as well!

Like I said If FSU gets in, I want Miami too. Let them get a taste of sucking in a real conference.
