He was planning on that after yr 5 here. His plan was to get fired. He got it a year early but he got called out on his BS.

I agree he’s viewed as a jerk and people don’t like him. I still find it hard to believe he’s not or wasn’t a good coach not too long ago. He just seemed to phone it in after the ole miss game relying way too much on his assistants who, along with himself, failed miserably at identifying and developing o line talent and it finally bit him in the arse when he didn’t have a unicorn at QB with 2 insanely talented WRs hiding its flaws.
