Nothing. It's more, he's trying to decide on a school with frats as a major criteria. Those kids are generally douchebags in my experience. There are plenty of good people in the greek system. I'm judging by his posts he won't be one of them.

I hope I misjudged him.

Thats how I'm feeling on the subject. Most real good frat guys don't make a habit of calling themselves fratty and are just chill guys.

was lucky enough to surround myself with cool frat buds

I have a couple of friends in Fraternities. My roomate last semester was a Phi Tau.

but I can see why a non-greek would find the average Ole Miss frat guy to be douchey.

It comes with the territory of being a dirty liberal.
I get pissed when people drive gas guzzlers, hunt animals and say racist/ignorant shite. I'm also not a huge fan of the pretentiousness and the social structure or whatever.
I get pissed at these people in general, but I give everyone I meet a chance.
I go out of my way not to judge them just because they look like a douche. I've actually benefitted from this a bit.

The building opened up at the start of last season. It's right down the highway from campus, in a college neighborhood with a golf course.

I understand where you're coming from. The older I got the more annoying I found a decent portion of the younger student body. It may just come with maturity, but I found myself questioning their intelligence/douchebaggery more often.

I agree. Once you get into your major its no longer frat frat frat. You hang out with alot of different people. I have my fraternity brothers, friends in other fraternities, and some that are GDI's. Who cares any more?

Yeah, I've noticed from Junior year onward no one gives a flying frick who's in what frat, and thats how it really should be from the beginning.
