I just don’t understand ESPN’s predictor at all and where they can up with that.

if he gets a play off W and shuts out or keeps a low ERA I think he possibly could. Either way he has had an amazing rookie season. If it wasnt for Alonso you would hear a lot more about Dakota

Dakota has been fine this year, certainly beat my expectations, but he's not even close to being the best pitcher on the team right now and definitely not in the hunt for the Cy Young...he didn't have the best 1st half but Jack Flaherty has been the best pitcher in baseball since the All-Star break (.9 ERA, .7 WHIP). He should finish in the Top 5, but he'll be the only Cardinal to do so.
