Is father can’t work as a physician because he can’t pass out licensing exam OM was nice enough to create a research position for him. Research
Positions are filled with doctors who can’t pass the USMLEs.

Overrated player from the start
He dominated Bama as a true freshman. Absolutely owned the line of scrimmage.
He got worse with time and hype

Rob was one of the cases the Ole miss boosters handled very well. He was paid but it was hidden very well. I work with a guy that was Robs friend and teammate, ended up playing for Minnesota himself, when he went to help Rob move in there were 2 duffle bags in the room. One for Rob and one for his dad. No indication on who they were from and all cash. Then they spun the decision around playing with his brother. It was well handled and many schools do it.

Hope Joe took notes. These three stars he keeps getting won’t win us shite. We haven’t beaten Bama since 07. Football season is just getting stale to me as a state fan

He didn't get off easy, it just wouldn't have been enough to prosecute.
OP didn't quote this part but he was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

Most gathered that from reading the link. Found it funny cops took the Coke. This kid has had the easy way out time and time again.

Knowing Robert, my guess is that it wasn't coke.

So to help me understand, you think that he was paid POST signing day on move-in and signed out of good faith, you think there were actual duffle bags of cash, and that this is the way to handle it well?

His father absolutely practiced medicine prior going into research (which occurred prior to Ole Miss) and has practiced medicine as recently as 2017.

Any prescription drug is a possibility

I’m just telling you exactly what the guy who was a division 1 athlete and actually with Rob on his move in day told me. If you somehow have even more reputable information then feel free to let us all know. But I’m going to take the word of the guy that was actually in the room over a random ole miss fan on a message board.

No he hasn’t. He was a research assistant in Georgia before OM. So unless they started administering the USMLE in Waynesboro, MS he still isn’t a licensed physician.

Looks like the Cardinals got a nice reason to get rid of his arse (other than his shitty play)

Yeah I knew him in school, he was relatively normal his freshman year and then out of nowhere somewhere during his sophomore year he just kind of lost it. He must've had a bad trip or something because he dude was never the same
I graduated in 2014, and my friends and me were pretty heavy in the drug and party scene at OM (not so much drugs for me, but I’ve dabbled in most things). I knew the Nkemdiche brother’s decently well. I don’t think Rob necessarily had a “bad trip” that ruined him, but more so heavy consistent use of acid and DMT way too often.
I know several people who have ended up like him, all of the sudden listening to Phish all day long and using healing crystals and shite, and unable to hold a meaningful conversation about anything anymore without coming off like 60 year old dead head. We used to call it (the point of no return) “puddled”, or refer to them as “space cadets”.
Some people can do it all the time and still be somewhat normal, most can’t. Moral of the story don’t do acid every day for months, keep it to a couple times a year sort of thing, or your brain will be fried.

Sounds more and more like Roberts good friend Ellis Dee brought him down.
