You don' t how it works at Bama. One will eventually get the nod as starter a #2 will also be chosen since our #2 this year graduates, and the other 5 they will try to morf into WR' s and TE' s etc, wherever they can shine. Grey shirts...

RP was the #1 overall recruit.

That's fair. And I am with you on Kyle Allen's mere commitment being evidence of exactly dick.

Serious Question Aggies.
Is JFF the best overall QB in the history of A&m football?

I'm responding to people who keep saying that 5 stars dont mean the player is good because there have been busts before.

I agree, Kyle Allen will not be the reason if we continue to be good.

Auburn was the shittiest program in the SEC, except for Kentucky and injury-laden Missouri. That's the point. A&M may have a few more losses after JFF leaves, but a complete collapse like Auburn had?

Yet a year later they're 5-1. Can A&M collapse and rebuild like that? Guess we'll see in 2015.

He is the best player in the history of SEC football, at least statistically. So yes.

Not only A&M football, but college football. Too bad he doesnt have a defense

Ryan Tannehill has had pro success if we are talking about total career i will have to wait a while to make that claim. But as far as "college" only. my above statement remains, and needs not be argued. it is factual.

He is the greatest College Football QB in history...so naturally he is about the 2nd or 3rd best in A&M history behind:

1.) Reggie Mcneal
2.) Ryan Tannehill

TAM still needs another couple of top tier recruiting classes to start matching Bama and LSU in depth of talent.

The SEC West with Bama, LSU, TAM, and an improving Auburn out class the SEC East by a mile.

I would say yes, but Kevin Murray, Gary Kubiac, and Bucky Richardson would be pretty good competition. You could probably ask the same about Tebow, or Danny Waffle (can't spell his name).

and Sumlin will be coaching USC or Tampa Bay.

Sumlin is not going to the NFL until NFL owners see him coach a year or two without Johnny Manziel. I'm sure they'd like to see what he can do without a super star QB.

When's the last time Sumlin didn't have a super star QB? Maybe it's him.

And yet the best A&M could manage was 3rd place in the West. I rest my case.
