It's an illusion. Every fan base has a certain amount of shitty fans. Combine that with people forgetting this is actually an LSU site..it SEEMS they have more than usual.

It's just the fringe that are the loudest.
I also like LSU and watch most of their games while pulling for them. Both Les Miles and Coach O are entertianing too. Defense is always salty with top tier talent. Plus the string of WRs they are putting into the league. Hard team to dislike.

I've always had the feeling that a majority of non-LSU fans on this website feel the same. How else would they find this site? Everyone just likes to talk shite about LSU because the LSU fans on here over react to everything

Well yeah, we all have fans like that. This site has more LSU fans in general, so they have more LSU fans like that. Also have more chill LSU posters, but of course they are not as vocal.

Hated their fans when I first joined but now that I understand this place I see that we are all just as shitty as they are.

The way New Orleans and Southern Louisiana are geographically has caused isolation since it's inception. Only way in or out was the Mississippi River
It was hell building roads and trains through those swamps. So they were just an isolated harbor everyone passing through just dropped a major shite on and then kept it moving.
They need something, anything to be recognized at, be it football or just the city that smells like piss . Those are just two things they're known for ....well not the saints though. Make it spicy food and piss instead of football as things they're known for
