To be clear, I still say he’s terrible and your coach knows that , so don’t worry , y’all are going to get someone better from the portal.
I thought I would show you the throws he made in his first start.
This is just highlights, he did also have an interception and a few incompletions. I also realize the receivers he has in this video are extremely talented.
He had terrace Marshall ,jaray Jenkins who caught the td to beat Aggie this year, kayshon boutte, and arik Gilbert , also had racey mcmath who was drafted in the 4th or 5 th I think. The others y’all know.

I just saw a post on y’all’s board saying tj has no upside, I don’t agree, hell, all tj has is upside.with this start being his first ever and his arm strength and quick release, I think this shows he has upside. He may have regressed though.

Our oc had a fantastic gameplan too . Anyway, here is all of his completions from that first start. Like I said , he did throw a pick and he had like 5 incompletions.
If you’re interested to see the other good start he had, look up lsu vs Arkansas 2020

Tj Finley first start ever

All those letters and then you say this? Of course he did but he’s young.

If 2022 opens up with Finley starting at Auburn, Johnson starting at A&M, and Brennan starting at LSU then Holy shite we come out ahead. Bigly.
