CAW, do you agree that Florida is the kind of program that does not have to take risks on sunbelt coaches? Who would you have hired instead of Napier 2 years ago?

I am joking. Florida can do better than that. Bring back Mullen. He never had a chance with the new transfer portal rule and NIL. Imagine if he was still the Florida HC, Florida would be a top 15 team right now.

Stricklin apparently wasn’t interested because Kelly was too big of a name and proven of a hire and the uaa knew they wouldn’t be able to push him around like a loser like Napier

You contradict yourself here. Is the UAA too cheap? Napier makes over $8 million this season.
The staff and overall budget increased greatly. I'm not defending Napier, I think he's in over his head. But, some of the stuff you post is contradictory.

Napier is overpaid for his quality but he’s not paid much by standards of winning program. Plus a lot of that is smoke an mirrors to make it look like theyre trying to spend on winning . You said yourself you know how much of a cheap frick foley is and he’s still pulling the strings
plus the uaa is making so many excuses about nil I’ll pull up the receipts

You know what, all of this actually makes sense. It's like UF got a taste of real dominance in the 2000s and since then they have done everything in their power to avoid becoming Bama (a pure football school where the coach runs the entire state). You always heard about UF dragging it's feet on new facilities, etc. because Spurrier was able to win with nothing but elbow grease and attitude. Instead of helping their coaches it's like they look down their noses at them and expect them to squeeze blood from a stone. Take Mullen for instance. The dude was known as a brilliant gameday coach and a lazy, bad recruiter. They were playing in Atlanta under Mullen. Instead of hiring him some goddamn headhunters to recruit, they canned him for a sunbelt coach. That sunbelt coach then hired the largest support staff in history and can't make a bowl. WTF is going on here? The worst part is that they squandered a decade of complete Miami and FSU collapse and did not solidify their position as the only football power in the state.
