All I noticed was your coach calling defensive timeouts on that BYU drive.

Hey idiot, do you know how to read a complete sentence?

A small and partial thing has rustled you so.

I know you are probably just attention whoring by now but you did not actually respond to my point.

Gophers claim 7 Natty's
1904 | 13-0 | Williams
1934 | 8-0 | Bierman
1935 | 8-0 | Bierman
1936 | 7-1 | Bierman
1940 | 8-0 | Bierman
1941 | 8-0 | Bierman
1960 | 8-2 | Warmath (the year Ole Miss was denied for race issues and Mizzou claimed on technicality)

The 1930's Gophers were the Miami Hurricanes of that age as they snatched Bernie from the success at Tulane and went on a rocket ride for about a decade. Now lets look at Nebraska.

(0) ZERO Natty's from 1869 from the 1970's (roughly 100 years)

1970 | 11-0-1 | Devany
1971 | 13-0-0 | Devany
1980 | 10-2 | Osborne
1981 | 9-3 | Osborne
1982 | 12-1 | Osborne
1983 | 12-1 | Osborne
1984 | 10-2 | Osborne
1993 | 11-1 | Osborne
1994 | 13-0 | Osborne
1995 | 12-0 | Osborne
1997 | 13-0 | Osborne
(basically 1 coach for their Natty's, just like the Gophers)

Since 1998, the year the Vols won the 1st BCS and 2014 (almost 20 years) Nebraska has not been a player. Laugh all you want but Nebraska looks way more like the Gophers than they do an Alabama or Tennessee in terms of sustained long term success.

Since 2006. Really, since 2001, but you people didn't have much to talk about then. You won't get it, and that's ok.

Notice you are missing the appearance of the 2001 national championship game and missing the appearances in conference title games over the last 20 years.

On a conference basis, the difference since 1999 and prior decades was not winning the conference title games.

The last second put on the lock against Texas is as close as you can get to winning a conference title without winning it. It was a last second play just like Auburn's kick return against Alabama.

Now go and educate yourself about what programs have the most wins over the last 40 years. The time since 1999 when we have not won a conference title is among those 40 years and still look where we are ranked on that wins list.

Also look at the 9 wins the last many seasons.... Notice that Missouri isn't even on that list and you still have not won a conference title since 1969 and still no national title.

Heck, I shouldn't be so harsh towards Missouri fans and say they will be dead before they ever see Missouri win a national title, I should ask them if they will ever see a conference title before they are dead.

Looks like you have just outed yourself as an alter then.

If you are going back to 2001, you must be talking about the gift wrapped win you got over Miami. That game certainly was a joke to the rest of the country.

BTW, I know you Bucknuts want to think you are the Cock of the Walk but it took Chicago dropping out of the B1G and the Gophers imploding to even get a spot to stand on. If you guys were not so chicken shite, you would have added UC to the B1G when they went state in the 70's so you did not have the monopoly of OH, Hell at least Michigan let Michigan State join the B1G and it probably hurt their domination of you since.

Wolverines would still own you if they did not have Sparty draining in state talent.

It is always interesting Bucknuts has ZERO, ZILCH, NADA Natty's before World War II. Bucknuts only rise after Chicago drops out and Sparty gets added. Care to discuss that little nugget of fact?

I went back to 2001 because that's when I started living in the South.

That PI was legit, everyone knows it, and any attempt to construe otherwise is just sad. Leave that to Miami fans. Be above it.

It's crazy how we were so bad before WW2, yet still rank fifth in wins all time. Ohio State is easily a top five program all time, all without even being good for half of the timeline, according you. Even more impressive.

Give some facts, and we can discuss them.

Still crying about that I see. Texas really did a number on your program. Hell, that one second ultimately sealed your non-AAU B10 junior membership fate!

On a side note, I think you're missing out on some very valuable stalking time in regards to high school athletes. I mean, that's valuable time that you can't get back, bruh!

Considering just how much your obsession has been revealed in this thread, I can't imagine what high school athletes have to deal with when you're actually stalking them. frick, I can't imagine what the Nebraska athletic department has to deal with in regards to your unwanted information.

I bet there's at least one restraining order for you in Nebraska and/or Wisconsin.

This is the SEC Rant.
Here we discuss real stuff like winning Natty's in all sports. Who the crap cares about conference titles? Do you really think Alabama (football), Kentucky (basketball), or LSU (baseball) give a crap about division or conference titles? Real winners care about winning at the very top because they are the apex predators. The fact that you must go to runners up or conference wins means Nebraska is no longer an apex predator. Enjoy your fall to 2nd or 3rd best.

So, I need to be nicer to Missouri fans and not have such high expectations for them.

Thus, are Missouri fans born in 1970 and after going to experience just one conference title before they are all dead?

Yeah, sure, it's just one of those pesky ordeals. LOL!

That one second caused Nebraska to go full tilt mad and make a rash decision to accept the B10's junior membership offer.

Literally that one second forced your hand.

The football resources have been moved in order to compete at something within the grasp of Nebraska:

In its 19th year (Coincidence?) (2015-16) as a varsity sport, Nebraska has become one of the top programs in the nation. Nebraska Coach Bill Straub has guided the Huskers to unprecedented success, winning 10 national championships (1991, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2009, 2013, 2015) including five NCAA titles since capturing the inaugural crown in 2004.
