Look, this is my last post on this bc politics don't belong here (so please refrain from bringing them into the discussion in the future).
There are a LOT of things that have helped bring this country down from its pinnacle (I don't agree it's already ruined). A LOT. If you look over just the past 2 decades, you could name hundreds of things, some done by the left, some by the right. Trump did a lot of good things. He did some bad things too. He will be remembered most (fairly or unfairly) for January 6th.
However, hyperbole and broad generalizations are useless in any debate. So is name calling (or whatever you call what you're doing). I don't care to go any further into this discussion.

Here's a fact or two: Tennessee isn't in the CWS. Didn't make it. Didn't make the cut. Super Regional runner up. As in, wasted year.

But you have players like Ronald Acuná that seem to be doing just fine. I seen a story this year that Acuná and Freddie Freeman did not gel because Freeman had an issue woht the eye black all over his face and the way he acted in General and all the jewelry. Freeman is great also and they both are elite players with different styles. But my questions is who is anyone to say how someone should act when you are very good at what you do? It’s ok to act like Freeman and be the “professional” type. But it’s also ok for guys like Acuná to have fun and bring a new element to the game that is fun and brings excitement, and attracts a new base of fans. Freeman style is the exact opposite of Acuná, but they found a way to gel and mange to win a Championship. The Vols are not the 1st team to do bat flips and pimp Homes Runs and won’t be the last in any league. If the Vols changed the way they played or the attitude they played with who’s to say they would have won the SEC and amount of games they did. There attitudes didn’t cost them game 3 against Notre Damn. Miss Managing the pitching is what cost then by not having Frank Anderson. And the top 5 patters going like 3-18 certainly didn’t help.

Still doesn’t negate the fact that Acuná style of play is similar to what the Vols played and he is doing just fine. Not to mention had a World Series ring to go along with it.
