Oh it’s still a rivalry. The fanbases hate each other. The yearly series stopped because they started to mean less to Florida than they did Miami. As the SEC expanded, it made no sense to play an SEC schedule, FSU, and Miami every year. Miami often only sells out FSU and UF so the rational was why would we lose an extra home game and it’s revenue + giving ourselves a harder schedule just to essentially help them with recruiting. frick scUM.
