Texas Southern is winless at 0-7 after making the NCAA tourney last year.
However, all of their 7 games were on the road against St. Mary’s CA, Washington, Oregon, Air Force, NC State, BYU, and Louisiana Tech.
They are the only HBCU ever to beat a team in the regular season who reached the final 4 (71-64 over Michigan St in 2014).
Shaq’s son Shaqir is on the team.
