Good win today. I saw a lot of things I like. Nobles showed some leadership, Clark played the most complete game I've seen out of him, they punched the ball in to Powell & Co., they played hard defense, and there was some actual blocking out for rebounds.

Most amazing was that Pelphrey did some coaching. He actually set up successful plays out of time outs.

Is this an anomoly or will we continue to see improvement?

I would "settle" with consistency at this point...

If they play like they did on offense for brief periods tonight, doing good basketball things like moving without the ball, passing the ball, taking good shots, and blocking out for 40 minutes instead of 10 or so a game they could finish with a decent record.

But I will not be surprised to see the same squad show up at Carolina that did at LSU and Texas...

Still can't believe we lost to LSU.

I could, we lost to them when they were 0-12 last year...

We'll probably beat them by 20 at home.

Probably, we beat them by 35 at home last year.

It is amusing to see some other SEC-W basketball fan think they are good while Arkansas is horrible while we have the best record and overall record in the west.

At least we realize how bad everyone in this division sucks.

I saw lot's of things that I didn't like coming from a 4th year coach. I think the reason we won was Alabama stinks from 3pt. range. Rot cam up huge to lead the team in rebounds with 5, WTF?

We'll get drilled at USCe, they shoot the 3 ball well...

Tough crowd. I saw some glimmers of improvement. Is it what I expect, certainly not. Coach/team has not ever met expectations.

Pelphrey just has to win one of the next two road games to save some face.

When do we play @ Auburn?

Pel says you will take the road wins I give you and be happy to have them.

Another excellent overtime strategy by Pel!

Its OK he is paid only for the 40 minutes, he stays for the final 5 because he is a good guy.

Jeff Long, make it stop please. This is simply unacceptable. It's gotten so bad some of the gumps are claiming to be the second best program in the SEC historically, behind KY. They somehow think that our basketball history should be ignored since Arkansas has only been in the SEC roughly 20 years.

You should check it out.
