the funny thing about this "rumor" is it was started on a blog called bammersuckballs. The blog was started by a Alabama fan to put out rediculous rumors to see if Auburn fans would take the bait and run with it. After posting the Saban resigning rumor a aubie called finebaum the next day and repeated it as fact, leading to where we are now.

I made the mistake of turning him on Friday afternoon. I was stunned at how many people believed it. Dec or early Jan the joke may have had some validity and therefore had some validity. April 3rd ? Come on.

Did anyone hear Langford's comment yesterday on Finebaum. He referred to Chizik as Chessanik.

Finebaum played that clip over and over and over. He's doing it again today. Apparently he's getting a lot of grief for "making fun" of Langford. I love it when he takes a clip like that (someone sounding like an idiot) and runs it into the ground to make a point. The Aubs aren't too happy.

It was funny listening to all of the fans call in thinking he was really resigning. Barner fans have been pissed all day at Finebaum teasing them with the Langford quote.
