What does Finebaum's comments have to do with the Bama-LSU rivalry?
Because Finebaum is pretty much saying it's Florida and Bama and LSU "doesn't matter." So I think the games between the two does matter and it shows that Alabama and LSU are evenly matched. Officiating on the other hand...but I digress.
But will LSU win a national title before Alabama and Florida? It could happen. Do I think it will happen? Probably not.

Yeah...that pass interference no-call which gave LSU the win was terrible.

I agree--that was a bad call as well. The PP interception--which was reviewed--goes without saying.

I think that pretty much sums it up. According to that quote, not much of a rivalry by his opinion.

Come on, bro...LSU had something like 5 yards of offense in the 4th quarter of that game. Do you honestly think they would have drove down field for a go-ahead TD?

Did you watch the game? We lost Jefferson, Charles Scott who was having a very good game up until he got hurt(13/84). That was two pretty big loses in that game that no doubt affected the offense in the 4th quarter and pretty much the second half of that game. Not making any excuse, that is part of the game but don't come here with only 5 yards in the 4th quarter shite. Yeah someone else should have stepped up, I would have like to see in that game Bama losing McElroy and Ingram in the 4th quarter. Maybe a different outcome? You tell me.

Eh...I think a LOT of Bama fans are excited to see Trent and AJ take the helm.
IF that would have happened in the 4th quarter of the LSU game, the outcome would have still been the same.

Maybe it would not have, we can play what if all day long.

Isn't that what you're doing by bitching about the missed interception call?

Finescum is nothing more than a pathetic shock jock who will do or say anything to get people riled up and crap just to get more ratings and listeners.

Try purchasing a LSU football ticket on stubhub for a SEC game and see how much they don't "matter."

what's kinda amazing to me is how close LSU was to winning the game against bama last year
bama was a much better team for the year as a whole - but if CS doesn't go down with a freak collar bone injury I'm not sure what stops him from trucking Bama like he was... that and the PP interception did LSU in when they probably pulled out a close win otherwise

Thanx to the SEC refs, we will never know will we.

Why don't you go back and read all the post that I wrote. I never said anything about a missed interception call. It might save you from looking like an arse.

And the game the year before that in 2008. Its not like bama killed us either year by 30 points. Althought listening to gumps fans you would have thought it was 50-0 in both games.

He is the least football savvy of all the shows I have heard. He avoids real questions and usually gives mainstream answers. It's an entertainment show
The real point of his show is to get people like Tammy to call in so the world (including Finebaum himself) can make fun of them; this is the only real value of the show. It is entertainment, not sports talk. He is obviously great at getting attention and entertaining people; I think I would be a better pure sports talk show host ... but I would not be nearly as popular.
