He's very hard to watch but his ratings are well above average. That's right now. His ratings soar once the season kicks off.

Finebaum and the SECN
Like dealing with most everything else that sucks in life, there's a simple and effective remedy. Don't watch.

How hard up can the SECN be to keep Finebaum on the air everyday. That is some horrible tv
How can you not like Finebaum? All he does is talk about SEC Football. How can you hate that?

Only in certain areas of the SEC. He does not do a good job at covering all SEC schools. He basically only covers 5 or 6 and then just spouts out pure speculation on the others.

The SEC network and its online platform have made more sporting events available than ever imagined. It's fricking awesome.
Their "shows", like all the other drivel on ESPN, suck arse. Shocking, I know. Not very hard to just not watch.

Isn't 80 percent of all LSU baseball games on SECN (or plus) and televised nationally?
All of the LSU basketball games were televised nationally thanks to the SECN.
Yeah...that doesn't benefit LSU at all...

I used to enjoy him but he tries too hard now. It's not as funny.

Hell, hearing him discuss LSU Baseball is laughable. Even by novice standards.
He's only relevant when it comes to discussing Alabama, Auburn & Tennessee football. When he attempts to step outside of that subject line. He becomes pathetic and tries to dumb down the conversation.

I find it amusing how he constantly defends himself from being an Alabama homer.
It's obvious to any listener that doesn't wear red As on their clothes.

Before the 2011 season he said if LSU made to the title game, he would crawl on his hands and knees from Birmingham to New Orleans.
I remember one time he was bashing Brees and the Saints offense. Later that year, they won the super bowl.
He is strictly a shite stirrer that panders to the insecurities of an unhinged, unintelligent, goose stepping fan base. He is more than likely the sole reason Updyke killed Auburn's oaks.
Do not take anything he says seriously. For entertainment purposes only.
I started listening to him up here when Bama was in search of a football coach and trust me, he loves to dis Bama as much as anyone else. He gets way more calls when he does.

I find it amusing that people try to see him as anything other than a ploy to get ratings. A ploy that works REALLY, REALLY WELL.
I think once people understand that and suspend the idea that he's an actual radio show host, their butts will stop perpetually hurting over him.

I get his schtick. Most people who listen a while get it too.

I think you should lobby to get the secn to change his job title.

I guess I just don't understand (trying to) why people still get so butthurt over him. Like any other television/radio station, ESPN/SEC want eyeballs to sell ad space. He knows how to rustle stupid rednecks with the best of them so that's why he's in the spot he's in.

It's obvious to everyone here that you have a gigantic continuous hardon for rednecks ...but I hear all sorts of idiots calling in.
