You southerners need to get out of the 19th century, there is nothing wrong with wearing a jersey. The civilized world (i.e. the Northeast, West) are LAUGHING at you
Actually, I'm not from the south and I think grown men wearing jerseys looks stupid as well.

You don't seem like the brightest light. You yell about how the south is so horrible, but you chose to go to school at Bama? Really?
And if it's a meaningless messageboard, why are you so torn up about anything that anyone says?

There has to be better things to bullshite about then another man's clothing at a football game.

It's ridiculous that people object, or even have an opinion to others wearing jerseys at a college football game. It's just another form of fan support. Yet, the same people that look down at people wearing jersey to college football games, have absolutely no problem with anyone wearing a Saints jersey to a Saints game....you would almost feel out of place without one, I have before. So the objecting to jersey wearing is just silly IMO.

In all honesty, I don't care if people do. But it's the people who think you're less of a fan if you don't. You don't see it much in the SEC even from those who do wear them, but if you've ever known any tOSU fans, you know what I'm talking about.

I'm glad certain people wear jerseys for various reasons. For example: you're at a football game and start talking to this guy hunting. The guy you're talking to says he has a gun he's been wanting to sell, which is the same kind of gun you want. Before you make the deal, you notice that he's wearing a jersey and decide not to do business with this man. This would have been a good decision because the jersey wearer is most likely poor, and very well may have robbed you in the parking lot with the same gun you were gonna buy.

Grown men wearing jerseys at NFL games is acceptable. Grown men wearing jerseys at a college game is not. Girls wearing them is fine.
ps-I don't hunt. I don't mind it, but I'm not spending all that time and money just to be bored in a tree.

Well, what is acceptable? Please tell me, I certainly don't want you to critique my fashion sense at a football game.

Jeans are fine after undergrad or senior year for the later season games.

Not if you get nice khakis.
